The Jews gather by Har Sinai and Hashem, through Moshe, gives them the 2 Luchos containing the 10 commandments.
1 – To make the cake we used a basic white cake recipe made in a round Pyrex glass bowl.
White Cake
1/2 c oil
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 c orange juice
1/2 c water
1 tsp vanilla extract
Beat sugar and oil, then add eggs. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

2 – Flip the cake over so you have a round mountain and cover it with a frosting.
Orange Cream Frosting
1/2 c margarine, softened
1 pound confectioners\’ sugar
2 Tbsps corn syrup
2 Tbsps orange juice
2 tsps vanilla extract
Cream the margarine, then slowly add the confectioners\’ sugar until it is mixed well. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat

3 – Sprinkle green sugar crystal sprinkles over the cake.
4 – Crush hard red, yellow, and orange candy and bake on 350 until melted. Once it has hardened it can be broken into shards to use as flames.
5 – Create flowers out of taffy and other candy.
6 – Place the “luchos” in the center.
7 – Line small chocolate wafers around the cake using extra frosting to hold them together.
