Pashas Acharei Mos discusses the mitzvah of kisoy dam – covering the blood after shechting an animal. When an animal is killed it must be shechted over the ground and then its blood must be covered over.
We made a cake (the ground) with a layer of jelly (the blood) and a topping of crushed nuts (the covering).
