In this weeks parsha we are told that the Torah is not far but in our hearts. We made jelly roll cake in the shape of hearts to represent this.
Jelly Roll Cake
6 eggs
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Beat eggs and sugar till lemony, then add the rest of the ingredients
Bake 350 for 12 min
Flip onto a towel and roll either end in to form two rolls. Unroll when cool and spread jelly on it, then re-roll. Pinch the top so it comes to a point.
